Our Customer is an International Company and it is a leading agri-business operating from seed to shelf in 65 countries, supplying food and industrial raw materials to over 13,800 customers worldwide. In its team of 23,000 employees has built a leadership position in many businesses including cocoa, coffee, cashew, rice and cotton, with offices in Mozambique. Due to its development, intends to recruit the following positions: Warehouse Supervisors.

Contract duration: Indeterminate with 6 months’ probation period

Purpose

• The WS will be part of the Edible nuts team and will be responsible for the overall warehouse operations. Their primary role is to lead a team of warehouse staffs and make sure the sector is under control;
• He is expected to plan for storing big volume, receive the goods, process them (dry, clean, standardize, pack and store/staffing) with no loss and timely by maintain the company recommendation and system;
• He will also be responsible for arranging for transport in case of needed, warehouse administration, hygiene, safety and Labors.

Key Roles

In cooperation with the Branch Manager, the warehouse Supervisor is expected to perform the following tasks:

• Planning and timely reporting of warehouse activities based on agreed business;
• Lead, train and supervise warehouse staffs for effective execution of planned activities;
• Promote good working environment for the entire warehouse team;
• Liaise with the procurement team for better goods reception in the warehouse;
• Promote partnerships at local level;
• Support the development of strong warehouse organizations and company system;
• Execute any relevant tasks as required by the management.

Requirements

•  10 years’ experience in warehousing in agri commodities – Cashew nut, sesame, peanut, pigeon peas, etc;
• Has handled big warehouse volumes > 3,000 tons and knowledge of containers staffing procedures;
• Working knowledge of MS Office (excel and word);
• Fluency in English.
