Jovago is looking for Account Managers to develop our business to potential hotel partners. The role will be heavily target driven and pay will be commission based – please only apply if you are confident in your ability to secure many new partnerships!

The position of a Account Manager entails:

• Meeting up to 12 potential partner hotels each day to secure new business;
• Negotiating best conditions with partners while still building long lasting relationship;
• Managing yourself and tracking progress with Excel spreadsheets;
• Creating trust with all partners;
• Quickly learning and fully understanding the Jovago business model to discuss with partners;
• Clearly communicating the benefits of Jovago to potential partners;
• Building strong customer relationships by leveraging information and defining opportunities;
• Building and leading cross-functional teams that are able to anticipate and deliver solutions to client issues.

A successful candidate will fulfill the following requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in relevant field;
• Independent and resourceful;
• Strong drive and leadership;
• Exceptional organizational skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
• Ability to negotiate in flawless English and Portuguese;
• Ability to identify new business opportunities;
• Ability to work independently and in a team;
• Ability to meet demanding sales targets;
• Previous sales experience is a bonus;
• Experience/connections in the tourism industry is a bonus.
