Request for financial proposal on provision of external audit services to ChildFund Mozambique.
The purpose of this TOR is to request for a financial proposal on provision of statutory audit services to ChildFund Mozambique. The audit should cover the Finance period 1st July 2022 to 30th June 2023.
ChildFund Mozambique is a Non-Governmental Organization operating in the country since 2005. The organization’s programs focus on protecting children at all stages of life against any form of abuse and supporting the formation of strong communities actively engaged in of protection systems, formal and informal. The programs that ChildFund implements are early childhood development, education, economic empowerment, emergency response, health and nutrition.
In Mozambique, ChildFund currently works with 5 Local Partners operating in Zavala District, Inhambane Province, Nampula Provence (Nampula city, Ribaue and Monapo) and Maputo City, respectively, Associação Txivuno Txa Vanana (ATTV), Reencontro, UATAF, benefiting a total of 11,266 children enrolled in sponsorship program with 6,834 individual sponsors.
The purpose of this TOR is to procure external audit services to perform an annual audit of the books of accounts and express an independent professional opinion on the financial position of the country office. The auditor is responsible for reviewing the financial, administrative, and operational aspects of the country office expenses to ensure compliance with Mozambique NGO practice, tax regulations, and other applicable policies, rules, and regulations.
