Key Responsibilities

Supervision and Leadership

• Lead and manage a team of boiler technicians, operators, providing guidance, training, and support;
• Assign and schedule work tasks, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects;
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Installation and Maintenance

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of boilers, burners, pumps, and other related equipment;
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal functioning and compliance with safety standards;
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in boiler systems.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies;
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

 Operational Efficiency

• Monitor boiler performance and energy consumption, implementing measures to improve efficiency and reduce costs;
• Ensure all boiler auxiliaries including but not limited the feed water softener plant, bagasse feeding system, compressed air room, power house mechanical components are well maintained;
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections and repairs;
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and operation activities and minimize downtime;
• Report on maintenance activities, equipment status, and safety incidents;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all boiler-related activities.
