RHDC – Consulting Services Ltd, is a rightful Mozambican company of consultancy in Human Resources that operates in the areas of Job Agency, Recruitment and Selection, Training, Competence Evaluation and Development, Temporary Work.

Our Customer is a high-tech electronic multimedia service provider, it is provide Television broadcasting services using terrestrial digital broadcasting platform. This Company is a subsidiary of StarTimes Group, which is based in Beijing China with experience of more than twenty years in the broadcasting TV sector. StarTimes Group, a technology based company established in 1988 in China and with partners include Cisco, Conax, ST, Ericsson and Harmonic, is a pioneer and key player in digital television solution and operator in China and Africa with over 7 million subscribers. It is currently operating in more than 8 African countries and growing fast. It has offices in Mozambique. Due to its development, intends to recruit, Branch General Manager – Beira.

Purpose of Job

• To develop and implement the regional plans; guide the overall direction of the region, the functional management and leadership of all the region activities thereby assisting the company to reach its goals and objectives to grow the brand.

Job Responsibility

• To develop and implement the strategic regional plan in line with the business strategy/plan;
• To ensure that all regional activities are aligned to the overall business requirements;
• Responsible for coordinating the specific objectives of the regional plan with all the functional departments of the company, including finance, Human resources, logistics, sales and marketing;
  Responsible to assist recruitment efforts by assessing each prospective staff and assigning them in the best possible position or location;
• To provide guidance, coordinate resources, mentor and motivate staff and branch managers;
• Responsible to ensure continuous improvement of the region in terms of productivity, customer service thereby meeting regional goals;
• To conduct store and site visits to assess the conditions and recommend changes;
• To conduct periodic performance evaluations to ensure that their team is on the right path to achieving the goals;
• To identify business opportunities and gaps and leverage on these with the expectation to grow the brand;
• To develop, implement and monitor business processes, policies and procedures in respect of functional activities (Installations, customer service, logistics, finance and sales) in the respective region;
• To ensure the region adheres to all company policies, and related legislations;
• To prepare, review and report on budgets and expenditure thereo.

Authority Limitation

• All decision must be taken in conjunction with the general director and with the necessary approvals

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• BSc or BA, Post graduate degree in Sales & Marketing, business degree or related qualification;
• Post graduate degree in Sales & Marketing, business degree or related qualification;
• Five (5+) years sales or business management experience, three (3) years of which must have been in a managerial capacity;
• Have Mozambique telecommunications and digital tv industry is preferred. Logistics and distribution knowledge and understanding;
• Age – 30-40 years;
• Willingness to work extra hours when necessary.
