Our client operates in the Transports and Logistics sector and is currently looking to hire a Business Development Manager to expand the business.
Scope
The candidate will be responsible for winning new logistics business in the area/country by developing long term relations with customers to create a sustainable, profitable, consistent relationship. He/ She will ensure that THE CLIENT meets its business objectives by gaining new customers, driving customer growth, retaining existing customers and working towards continuous value addition to our customers.
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for winning new opportunities to propose logistics services to existing customers and to the local market;
The candidate will be responsible for developing long term relations with customers to create a sustainable, his/hers goals, negotiate with suppliers, etc. profitable, consistent relationship;
The candidate will define and implement a Commercial Action Plan so as to reach;
Moreover, the candidate will define the strategy and budget according with the clients’s business in order to achieve your commercial objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
8 -10 years of sales role in logistics, transport and freight forwarding industry;
Fluent Portuguese & English proficiency;
Excellent negotiation skills;
Postgraduate degree (+3/5 years) in International Trade or Transport/Logistics would be an advantage.
