Chief of Party (Heading) Tempo Inteiro

Heading Moz is searching for a Chief of Party (M/F), for a client, to be based in Zambézia-Quelinane.

The Project Chief of Party will have overall responsibility for the leadership and management of all grant activities and staff, will coordinate the implementation of all aspects of the project to ensure high quality implementation and timely reporting to the donor. S/he will bear ultimate responsibility for ensuring that Organization and sub-grantees meet USAID, PEPFAR and program requirements, as well as, provide managerial and technical support throughout the implementation of the project, including management of sub-partners.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in public health or related field with degree in health Care;
• At least 10 years of experience with Health and HIV/AIDS programming in developing countries, preferably in Africa;
• At least 7 years of senior-level experience in managing large, complex community-based HIV care and support projects;
• Demonstrated knowledge of community-level evidence based and promising behavioural and structural HIV prevent, care, treatment and support interventions, and linkages to services;
• At least 4 years of experience with USAID-funded projects;
• Proven ability to manage technical assistance teams;
• Written and oral fluency in English.
