• Project Period: 1st, Febuary, 2020 ~ 31st, January, 2021 (12 month)

1. Building Distance Learning Center
2. Providing Facilitator training
3. Supporting students’ club activities
4. Organizing education awareness campaign
Background
GOOD NEIGHBORS is an International humanitarian development NGO bringing Good Change for children and communities around the world through community development projects and social welfare program in order to make the world a place without hunger, where people live together in harmony
Good Neighbors Mozambique (GNMOZ) has been working for child education in Chichongue community where is located in remote area with no secondary school that generates high drop-out rate after the primary school. In order to tackle this issue by improving the accessibility to higher education service, GNMOZ has adopted Distance learning program for the secondary education introduced by IEDA.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring the process of construction for Distance learning Center
2. Organizing DL facilitator training
3. Supporting self-study group and student’s clubs
4. Managing DL M&E plan
5. Responsible for qualified tasks instructed by the Project manager
Qualification:
– Mozambican Nationality
– Above diploma or bachelor school degree.
– Good communication skill written and oral (Portuguese, English and local language)
– Computer literacy and good documentation skills
– Willingness to travel to rural area
Preference
– School degree related to the duties such as pedagogy, development, sociology etc.
– A minimum of 2 years of related-experience in education or humanitarian development field
