Head of Finance/ Finance Director (Elite)

The Client:

Our Client is a leading company operating in the Oil and Gas Sector.

General purpose: They are looking for a focused, pro-active Finance Director to lead their finance division.

Responsibilities will include:

• Advising Senior Partners on all financial matters;
• Leading and implementing strategic projects;
• Analysis of new business opportunities and assessing any associated risks;
• Assisting the relevant departments and ensuring tight internal controls are in place and company policies are adhered to;
• Reviewing monthly and corporate financial performance and recommending actions to keep all business units on target;
• Authorizing expenditure in line with the budget;
• Providing leadership and managing the Accounts team to ensure the production of accurate and timely financial information;
• All aspects of budgets, business plans and audit;
• Cash flow, borrowings and management of debtors;
• Compliance and company secretarial duties.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• University Degree or equivalent experience;
• Full accountant qualifications;
• Over 8 years’ experience;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
