Main Purpose of Job/ Job Description

• Expat with strong leadership skills, communication skills and sound technical understanding of coal wash plant.  He should have complete control over plant process, engineering team. He will be reporting directly to project head.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of effective operation of coal processing plant (as per siterequirement);
• Enforcing compliance to health, safety and environmental regulations;
• Enforcing compliance to labor law regulations;
• Ensure production planning and all consumables planning;
• Ensure inventory control simultaneously ensure availability of insurance items and critical items to have smooth operation of plant;
• Ensure records keeping of all documents as per ISO requirements;
• Ensure cleanliness in plant and implementation of 5S in plant.Ensure all the workmen trained with 5S.Ensure 5S project responsibility to all workmen;
• Ensure SOP followed at work place;
• Responsible for Quality and quantity production with proper production planning;
• Ensure the PM jobs done in time and shutdown jobs done as per plan. Control shutdown delays;
• Ensure less operating cost as per set target;
• Ensure class room training and on the job training of workmen;
• Ensure safe work practice in plant;
• Ensure maximum reliability of plant and work with 100% reliability of plant;
• Ensure safety and 5S training to employees in regular basis;
• Ensure to minimize the operational delays and maximum utilization of equipment to reduce production cost;
• Ensure to keep day to day history records and along with all operational parameters;
• Must do cost benefit projection to reduce cost of production as well as increase productivity;
• Ensure discipline among the workforce and ensure all workmen loaded with sufficient work;
• Ensure proper coordination with the Engineering section, operation and utility section;
• Ensure on the job training to workmen and ensure SOP implementation at work field;
• Continuous improvement projects to improve reliability of plant;
• Ensure reduction of maintenance cost as well as production cost;
• Ensure the cost is always under budget.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, age 40-50 years;
• 18-24 years of work experience in coal wash plant – operation and maintenance would be preferred;
• Good communication skills, leadershiproles, team management;
• English (writing and speaking), good IT skills (Excel, Word).
