HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER
Mashova, a leading international plant and project management company, has a new position available for a Human Resource Manager in Mozambique – Nacala-e-Velha.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management;
Managing company staff, including coordinating and supporting the recruitment process;
Introducing newcomers to the company;
Providing the necessary support systems for payroll requirements;
Developing adequate Mashova induction and training;
Assisting with the performance management and review process;
Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy;
Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues;
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital;
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization;
Nurture a positive working environment;
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance;
Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics;
Ensure that all foreigners have complete documentation, work permits and residency permits according to the Mozambican law.
Monthly labour reports to be compiled.
Desired Experience & Qualification
5-10 years HR Management experience is a prerequisite; with medium size enterprises with employees up to 250.
Human Resources and Labour Relations qualification is a prerequisite;
Payroll experience;
In depth Mozambique Labour Law knowledge;
In depth INSS experience and experience on the SISMO program;
Computer literate on MS Office;
Time and people management;
Organisational and planning skills;
Fluent in English and Portuguese;
Individual with strong collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; and
Essential to be up to date with an understanding of industry awards, current pay rates and industry trends surrounding non-monetary benefits;

Hours: Monday – Friday (06:30 – 17:00)
