HSSE Inspector (Heading) Tempo Inteiro

Heading Moz is searching for an HSSE Inspector (M/F) for a client working in the field of Oil and Gas, to be based in Maputo.

The HSSE Inspector will be responsible for:

• Execute the tasks at hand with respect to the HSSE procedures of the construction site. The person will report for this role to the Q&A Supervisor of the Project Management contractor;
• Verifying the issuing of work permits and the respect of the conditions in the field;
• Verifying the environmental conditions of the construction activities;
• Support the Quality Control systems of the contractors, as per requirement;
• Support the registration of HSSE none conformities and periodical reporting;
• Photographic registration of the works;
• Will prepare the operational commission of the plant.  In this role the person will help preparing HSSE procedures, work permits check lists, etc. with respect to these activities.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering and/or HSSE;
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial environment, preferably the tank terminal business;
• Good understanding of the terminal business and the key drivers for the technical, operational and HSSE activities of an independent liquid tank storage business;
• Experience in an international and multi-cultural background;
• Well established computer skills, more specifically the Microsoft® and the Lotus Notes® applications;
• Beside Portuguese, being fluent in English written and spoken is imperative.
