Logistics Supervisor

The Direccione Consulting is recruiting for a FMCG Company operating in the market for over 10 years a Logistics Supervisor (M/F) who will be based in Maputo. The vigilant Security Supervisor will be responsible to play a key role in overseeing and optimizing the logistics and supply chain operations for our supermarkets and warehouse facilities.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Implement effective inventory control measures to optimize stock levels. Conduct regular stock audits and coordinate with the warehouse team for accuracy.
• Order Fulfillment: Coordinate and prioritize order processing to meet customer demands and Monitor order accuracy and on-time deliveries.
• Warehouse Operations: Oversee the efficient functioning of warehouse activities. Optimize layout and storage to enhance space utilization and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Distribution Coordination: Plan and coordinate distribution schedules for timely deliveries and optimize routes to minimize transportation costs.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization within the logistics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of transportation management and distribution coordination.
