To support Cash Project Manager in the implementation of the EFSP project, ensuring that the program achieve its goals and objectives and compliance to World Vision and Donor standards in the management of cash transfer and reinforce and maintain good standards for receipt, monitoring, documentation, accounting and reporting. Emphasis will be on strong coordination with key local authorities such as INGC and local governments, within the framework of integrated food and cash resources into World Vision holistic ministry.
Extensive exposure to food and cash programs (minimum 2 years);
Basic knowledge of the Sphere standards, Code of Conduct for Red Cross/ Red crescent, Humanitarian Accountability Partnerships (HAP) and other international humanitarian standards;
Basic knowledge of commodities/cash standards, as defined and set out by Disaster Management Team;
Knowledge of commodities/cash & logistics operations, preferably within WV context, specifically those that relate to food distributions, warehousing, reporting, tracking, monitoring etc;
Knowledge of different capacity building initiatives;
A valid driver’s license is required as 65% of the time is to be spent in the field;
Knowledge of Excel spreadsheet, or Word program, fax and e-mail;
Ability to effectively develop rapport and relate to donors, NGOs, counterparts, and government agencies;
Must be willing to travel and a flexible approach to living conditions;
Communicate in Portuguese and English is essential.
