Human Resources Officer Tempo Inteiro

Situated on the southern Peninsular of Pemba, close to the Quirimbas National Park, Diamonds Mequfi Beach, is a luxury 5* Resort built on the sandy dunes of the stunning Mecufi Bay. The Resort lies at about one hour drive from the international airport of Pemba.

We are currently recruiting for the following position: Human Resources Officer

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems;
• Provide counseling on policies and procedures;
• Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process;
• Create and implement effective on boarding plans;
• Develop training and development programs;
• Assist in performance management processes;
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues;
• Maintain employee records (attendance, Master file etc.) according to policy and legal requirements;
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as HR officer position;
• Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.);
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures;
• Proficient in MS Office (Technically proficient in computer software application);
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude;
• Strong ethics and reliability;
• Fluent English & Portuguese;
• Good organizational skills and strong leadership skills;
• Degree or equivalent on HR course or similar;
• Experience working as a HR Officer minimum 3 or 2 years.
