A TJ Consultants pretende recrutar para o seu quadro de pessoal um (1) Maintenance Tool Keeper.

To maintain a tidy and well-run work shop. The tool keeper would be expected to have a knowledge of tools management and to be able to offer advice to Maintenance crew on good use practices and conservation of tools if necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• To sign any tool out and back into the workshop and to chase if tools are not returned at the end of the day or job;
• Welcome often nervous and inexperienced persons into a workshop environment with understanding that they might not know what they need to complete their task;
• Stock take and report to Maintenance manager when stock is depleted;
• Maintain and repair various workshop tools;
• You may be required to carry out other duties, as are within your capabilities and level of responsibility, to meet the needs of the Plant Availability;
• You will be efficient with your time, able to prioritize effectively and to come up with creative solutions to difficult problems;
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas;
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards;
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors;
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment;
• Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers;
• Clean and maintain, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations;
• Dispose of damaged or defective items, or return them to vendors (Maintenance manager authorization required);
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer;
• Keep records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment;
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to Maintenance manager;
• Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock;
• Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities;
• Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, shortages, and goods used or issued;
• Prepare Tools, equipment, or other items for use by adjusting, repairing or assembling them as necessary;
• Prepare documents for procurement process of new tools or repair of the damaged tools.

• Fully Bilingual;
• Good interpersonal skills;

• Valid driving license.

Basic Level in Mechanics

Work Experience:

• Worked in plant maintenance environment;
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Tool Keeper.
