The EP Management and Consultancy Services is recruiting to his client a Portfolio and Product Owner.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Management
This task will require your skills and abilities to be directed toward promoting and managing AIM’s variety of Value Added Services (VAS) offerings. You will require to actively seek out new opportunities as well as monitor and audit all ongoing projects from a revenue, resources/costs, and margin point of view. Being able be to make sure that each of product is sustainable and growing in both revenue and profit will be one of the key objectives for this function. Hence your challenge will be to demonstrate your ability to grow the VAS offerings and work to increase margin by identifying and creating new leads as well as devising and implementing strategies that will deliver efficiencies in policy, service offering and our growth in the technology space.
Good analytical skills and understanding of the information you will obtain and access to and will be required to to report on trends and progress of every product on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Provide strategic input on what can/should be done to take each project to the next level along with making recommendations to the various management teams at AIM Group should any products or projects not be viable for future earnings and hence not be viable for continuation.
Provided with KPIs and targets for various activities and services that you will be required to meet and will service to guide your achievements.
Product Owner
As a product owner, you will be you will be tasked with developing new products from concept to deployment in market.
As a product owner for this product you will see it through end-to-end development including:
Project scoping
Research
Strategy
Design (brand, product, technology)
Execution
Recruitment (if necessary)
Development (see it through the technical process including drafting of functional specs)
Testing
Deployment
Marketing
Growth
Using the same criterion, you are tasked with creating a profitable, sustainable, equitable business within a specified time window.
To achieve some of opportunities you are tasked with, you may be granted an opportunity to get involved in our recruitment process to take on resources so as to make this project work. For this, a clear plan and strategy with KPIs will have to be presented to the executive team for approval.
Qualifications and Skills
A BSc degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field would be ideal;
Proficient in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
Extensive experience within product management and deep experience in development of software application;
Critical thinking, analytical skills, capability to research, in-depth understanding in the areas of cloud computing, technology advancements and innovations to assess the technical and economic feasibility;
Results driven and able to convince with leadership-mindset and a high degree of motivational capabilities.
