Requirements
Open for Tete residence
Young person (25 to 40 years) of good disposition, male environment;
Fluent in English and Portuguese a must;
Experience in marketing construction products and in particular concrete cement products: pavers, cement; common bricks, load bearing cement bricks, cement blocks and any other concrete products;
Has marketed such products preferably in Tete and other parts of Mozambique. Follow up on key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities;
Sound knowledge of simple algebra (calculations);
At least 5 or more years in a similar position;
Educated to at least ordinary level;
Drivers license may be required;
Ability to talk to clients of all levels. The clientele base being: Senior Municipal Officials, Directors of Construction Companies, Individuals building their own houses, Senior government officials from various government departments, Contractors, Builders, Officials from Non governmental organizations;
Honest, diligent, responsible and able to work on own initiative, self starter;
Can collect, analyze, and summarize data and trends;
Flexible to travel and loves travelling around locally and in various parts of Mozambique;
Can master and contribute towards a marketing strategy, be able to follow a laid marketing strategy to achieve goals;
Understands simple accounting principles: revenue, gross profit, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand;
Mozambican national preferred;
Successful candidate will work on target to earn a salary.
