Senior Accountant

Our services includes specialist workforce solutions, contract management, employer of records solutions, payroll outsourcing solutions and secretarial services to the Oil and Gas, Mining, Energy and other relevant industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Month end duties including preparing and posting journal entries
• Review general ledger accounts and post any corrections/discrepancies
• Prepare monthly financial reports and related schedules and review for accuracy
• Research discrepancies and correct any issues found in a timely manner
• Account reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
• Assist in the annual budget process and quarterly forecast
• Fixed Assets

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Senior 4+ years experience
• Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to juggle many personalities
• Must be able to handle strict deadlines
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
• Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical skills
• Excellent written, communication and organizational skills
• Experience in Microsoft Dynamics a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Advance Excel, Word, Outlook
