Primary Responsibilities
Initiate marketing activities, calls, emails, online postings, face-to-face meetings, designed to prospect for new clients and business partners (brokers, banks, media houses or channel partners);
Initiate dialogue with banks for providing mortgage services for the forthcoming real estate projects. After bringing the dialogue to a successful conclusion, ensure necessary agreements are signed and filed;
Liaise with banks and brokers for briefing and training on new projects or provide updates on ongoing projects;
Liaise with media partners for advertising. Negotiating prices and space with print media partners and outdoor signage. Coordinate and assist in media planning;
Strategic communication within advertising and public relations;
Prepares correspondence, proposals and presentations for a variety of audiences regarding current and new projects;
Coordinate meetings with broker team to monitor progress of sale / lease of current projects, business development targets, and individual agent responsibilities;
Coordinate periodic direct mail programs (i.e. newsletter, listing announcements, closed deal announcement, availabilities mailing, etc.);
Maintain current listings, contract records, and transactions in Excel or other company approved contact management systems. Provide the same periodically to the Head office;
Manage property assignments listings, files, Sale agreements etc.
Secondary Responsibilities
Stay informed of recent sales and lease activity in Mozambique, create necessary inventory of specific broker driven information on current activity for execution of assignments;
Communication timely, market-specific news to broker and broker teams;
Participate in limited client interaction as requested;
Become familiar with all company resources: databases, projects, internet sites, reference materials, etc;
Attend company meetings, training programs, and team meetings as directed.
Requirements
Female, Age 30+ having excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English; amenable personality and a team player;
4+ years of experience preferably in Marketing/ administration supporting a real estate brokerage or Event Planning with an outstanding performance record. (Sales, Marketing or Advertising background a plus);
Advanced level in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
Admin and clerical skills needed to manage files and record;
Commercial, Retail and Residential real estate knowledge and experience;
Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking ability, Self-starter, creative, communication and time management skills;
Reliable, results-oriented work ethic based upon responsibility, enthusiasm, and pride in work;
Networking, presentation and negotiating skills;
Must be available to assist with coordination, set-up and management of events on the days they occur, i.e., including weekends and holidays.
Schedule
Full-time
Must be flexible and able to work events which may include nights, weekends and holidays;
Some travel, domestic and international may be required.
