Job Overview:
The Senior Field Engineer applies Engineering practices and knowledge to improve the Field Engineering Discipline within McDermott. They must act as a lead engineer and share the conceptual and practical expertise related to the Field Engineering Discipline. Additionally, provide solutions and prepare a mitigation plan to resolve complex problems and apply their discipline-specific knowledge to improve the process and services. The Senior Field Engineer plays a pivotal role with JV Partner Company, and home office engineeering activities with the team assigned, being within the specifications, standards as applicable for the Company side, and follows McDermott guidelines and policies as well as the JV specific policies and procedures in use on the Mozambique LNG Project.
The Field Engineering Team, led by the Field Engineering Manager (FEM), shall consist of the following engineering disciplines: Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, Buildings Engineers, Piping Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Instrumentation & Automation Engineers, Mechanical (Rotating/Packages/Static) Engineers and Process Engineers.
