Leading company is recruting a Service Supervisor to Tete, Mozambique.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of Service Artisans to repair, service and maintain Earthmoving Equipment, power generation and components to Caterpillar standards and Customer requirement;
• Achievement of cost centre financial targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
• Resolve internal customer queries;
• Effective control of cost centre expenses and WIP;
• Ensure effective communication between team and management;
• Ensure service work is carried out in compliance with quality standards (OEM Guidelines);
• Apply Warranty policies and procedures and Service Warranty investigations;
• Ensure Outputs of Service Audits are achieved;
• Apply Barloworld Equipment leadership philosophy;
• Achieve of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability;
• Performance management of team;
• Competency development of team’s 1 hour training;
• On-the-job supervision;
• Safety of team;
• Reporting of team KPIs and prospects.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering Diploma or Degree;
• Grade 12;
• Qualified Artisan [Mechanic in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) with minimum 5 years post apprentice/learnership experience);
• Leadership potential;
• Proven track record in leading a team of artisans;
• Business and financial acumen;
• Excellent admin skills;
• Solid planning skills;
• Sound business communication and presentation skills;
• Able to achieve results utilizing talent in team;
• Knowledge of SIS & ET or similar;
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English language;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Presentation Skills;
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar position;
• Mozambican Nationality;
• Age: 30 to 45.
