A Vodacom Moçambique pretende recrutar para o seu quadro de pessoal, um (1) Specialist VAS & NT – HLR Systems.
Objectives
Provide 1st level of support to the Vodacom VAS & NT-HLR Platforms and guarantee an acceptable level of support.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure infrastructure availability 100% of the time;
Daily system checklists are completed to verify health of systems;
Identified system faults are logged with suppliers, followed up and escalated if needed in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in place with suppliers;
Effective capacity management is performed. Timely actions are carried out to ensure that systems are able to cope with predicted utilization over time;
Ensure that systems are upgraded and adapted timely based on business requirements;
Ensure that latest software releases and bug fixes are implemented on systems as soon as practical;
Respond to Customer Service Requests logged by users who request assistance within agreed timeframes;
Provide permanent solutions to recurrent problems;
Submit periodic reports to line manager which include: user access review, system availability, progress feedback on tasks, incidents observed, statistical data highlighting patterns/trends in system utilization, recommendations to ensure system is able to cope with traffic patterns;
Ensure that backup routines are configured on systems under your portfolio and that backup restoration tests are performed on agreed timelines;
Ensure that TRP tests for systems under your portfolio are performed on agreed timelines and submit test results to line manager and IT Quality and Governance officer;
Review of new technical system specifications and provide technical guidance to management on the specifications;
Participate in intra departmental management discussions where technical advice/expertise may be required to reach decisions;
Implement best-practices in terms of task automation, system monitoring and system capacity planning within the portfolio;
Provide input to aid in the scoping for technical sub-projects;
Execute all the documented tasks according to agreed scope and project timelines;
Ensure that all systems under your portfolio follow the quality and governance criteria established by the IT Quality and Governance officer;
Ensure that all systems under your portfolio follow the security criteria established by the IT Security Officer.
Outputs
Implement security mechanisms to strength the system reliability;
Adhere to Vodafone Group IT Policies and Procedures;
Provide support to internal customers (call centre, IT, billing, etc.);
