Stock Controller – Mechanical and Electrical Materials
Duties
Responsible for the distribution, reception, storage and supervision of all materials described in purchase orders. Identify the need for improvement of the stock system;
Assure that the inventory of parts and equipment is exact, complete and in agreement with all supply receives;
Responsible for maintaining an organized stock;
Receive all incoming shipments and verify that the quality and quantity is correct;
Receive materials into the warehouse and verify materials against purchase order or receiving report to ensure the accuracy of the delivery;
Make annual surveys of the physical inventory, eventual audits in stock and inventory system as is requested by Management and maintain the program of permanent inventory in period time scheduled by FI.;
Make recommendations to Management in relation to stock levels;
Prepare all outgoing material for distribution, taking account the necessary documentation, acceptable packing procedures and transport;
Conducts Cycle Counting and/or Physical Inventory Process per schedule and reports discrepancies to Warehouse and Logistic Specialist.
Requisites
Degree in business or related field a plus;
Proven work experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Manager or similar role
Good understanding of supply chain procedures;
Two (2) years’ experience as a stock controller, receiver, or related position;
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel);
Speaks, reads and writes English fluently.
