Team Leader (Heading) Tempo Inteiro

Heading Moz is searching for a Team Leader (M/F) to be part of a new project in education for World Vision financed by the US Government, to be based in Nampula.

Responsibilities

• The purpose of the Team Leader position is to oversee the field operations of the project, focusing on the components that are implemented by World Vision. This includes ensuring that the project achieves its goals and objectives with compliance to World Vision and Donor standards, co-ordinating efforts between the two districts, and ensuring that necessary support is provided to the district teams by the provincial team in a timely manner. The Team Leader will also play a significant role in government relations at the Provincial level, assisting the Chief of Party in ensuring that all necessary information is provided to the government.

Requirements

• Education and Knowledge Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject e.g. Management, Development, Education, Health;
• Minimum of 5 years in project management;
• Strong understanding of community engagement processes and community dynamics;
• Experience with US government grants is preferred;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Portuguese;
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, or other similar software.
