Main Purpose of Job/ Job Description

• Rich experience in delivering optimal results & business value in high-growth environments in the areas of 5S, Kaizen, Maintenance, Material Management. Acknowledged team leader, trainer and motivator with well-honed analytical and troubleshooting skills. Key competencies in introducing control/improvement process to reduce wastages and enhance overall operational efficiency. He will be reporting directly to the HOD and will have 35-40 no. of staff under him.

• To comply with all related engineering policies and lawsEffective cost control
• Planning and scheduling of jobs

• Management of engineering staff:
  • Compliance with laws;
  • Compliance with health and safety procedures;
  • Training requirements
• Comply with site requirements with regards to the following:
  • Planned maintenance;
  • Spares availability;
  • Reducing breakdown down times;
  • Optimize the highest plant availability;
  • Record keeping and history (Maintenance program);
  • Enforcing planned maintenance;
  • Workshop management;
  • Preventive maintenance;
  • Optimize the highest plant availability;
  • Recordkeeping and maintaining history record;
  • Effective scheduling of staff activities;
  • Routine inspections on staff tasks (documented);
  • Identifying training requirements of labor;
  • Enforcing strict health and safety procedures;
  • Discipline.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• BE Mechanical;
• 5-6 Years of Mineral Processing /Material handling plant Experience;
• Excellent Management Skills;
• Expertise in implementation of planned, preventive & predictive maintenance;
• Acknowledged team leader, trainer and motivator with well-honed analytical and troubleshooting skills.
