Responsibilities

• The team you manage must know what to expect from a supervisor, so clarify all the rules and expectations for employees and have them consistently follow these policies;
• As supervisor, you will be responsible for the entire team. Do not point the finger and put the blame on other people if you miss a deadline or a client. Instead, review the role you played in the process, admit the mistakes, and come up with a plan for not making such mistakes in the future;
• Good communication requires knowing how to listen in addition to speaking, so be open to listening to any suggestions from your staff. When you pay attention to employees, they feel respected and become more willing to follow your directions. Giving strict orders without ever listening to anyone can end the motivation and commitment of the team.

Supervisor Functions:

• Receive and monitor the evolution of work orders;
• Monitor whether service orders are being served conveniently indicating improvements or corrections if they are necessary;
• Critically analyze the performance of the sector under its responsibility;
• Analyze, develop and recommend techniques and equipment that aim to improve the performance of your sector;
• Conduct operational reports on the activities of the sector on its responsibility.
