Chief Financial Officer Tempo Inteiro

We are recruiting a CFO (Chief Financial Officer) for a leading company in the FMCG, Distribution, and Retail sector, located in Maputo. The selected CFO will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, the efficiency of budgeting processes, and compliance with regulatory standards. This professional will play a crucial role in defining and implementing the company’s financial strategies, ensuring financial sustainability, and supporting the organization’s strategic growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields; an MBA is highly valued;
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are highly desirable;
• At least 10-15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and performance analysis;
• Leadership experience, preferably as a CFO in medium to large companies or in the FMCG, Distribution, and Retail sector;
• Expertise in accounting, budgeting, auditing, cost control, and financial analysis; ability to implement and monitor robust financial policies and processes;
• Ability to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term objectives;
• Proficiency in forecasting and scenario analysis;
• Proficiency in financial data analysis and effective communication of results;
• Experience in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating financial and operational risks; knowledge of ERP systems and BI tools;
• Capability to lead and motivate the finance team, with excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• High professional integrity and ethics, with the ability to adapt to rapid changes in the business environment and financial regulations.
