IT Manager (Heading) Tempo Inteiro

Heading Moz is searching for a Client (from Food Production Industry), for IT Manager to be based in Maputo.

Responsibilities

• The incumbent will be responsible for manage and provide hardware and software maintenance, training and consultation, and recommendations about future planning and development of resources;
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation systems;
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer system operations and development;
• Hire and manage information systems contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems;
• Recommends appropriate maintenance strategies to ensure uninterrupted systems usage and proper backup and recovery procedures are adhered to;
• Control the computer systems budgets and expenditures;
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network operating system and all technology issues;
• Provide orientation to users, individual training and support on request;
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources;
• Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance;
• Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources;
• Research current and potential resources and services;
• Install work stations; Connect and setup hardware;
• Provide network accounts and passwords as required;
• Monitor security of all technology;
• Input and maintain IP addresses;
• Ensure compliance with the procedures of the Integrated Management System;
• Perform other tasks or activities not specified above, when they are considered necessary to further the objectives of the company and the group.

Requiriments

• Higher degree in IT Engineering (mandatory);
• 10 years related experience in the field of Information Technology and Project Management;
• Solid knowledge of ERP (Primavera);
• Strong knowledge of Programing;
• Experience in Windows OS and Windows Server;
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, LAN / WAN;
• Solid knowledge of VOIP and TCP / IP Networks;
• Knowledge of active components including Cisco network switches and routers;
• Be familiar with all hardware and software and also with network operating systems;
• Management and supervisory skills;
• High decision making and problem solving skills;
• Effective verbal and written communications skills both in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
