Logistics Manager (Heading) Tempo Inteiro

Heading Human Resources Mozambique is searching for a Logistics Manager (M/F) for Mozambique to be based in Chimoio – Beira or Maputo.

The manager will be responsible for everything coming into and going out of the site/plant (excluding final product going out to customers), for the multiple plants and depots as well as external bottlers and plants.

Responsibilities

• Manage Haulage and in-bound transport;
• Manage SLA with suppliers;
• Manage Trade Services;
• Manage SHEQ and Compliance to all E3 requirements, Logistics costs within agreed parameters;
• Manage Hauling and in bound handling costs (identify synergies and opportunities for managing costs in process);
• Manage People: Ensure People Development, Performance Management and Recruited & selected staff;
• Manage haulage (by looking at Scheduling, Turn-around time, Fleet availability, Outsource, agreements (when applicable) and;
• Manage in-bound transport (Expediting of raw material delivery, Efficient truck utilisation).

Profile

• Bacharel degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain;
• Experience in Warehouse Management, Distribution and Operations;
• Experience of 5 years in logistics or minimum 10 years LWD (Logistics, Wharehouse and Distribution) hands-on experience;
• Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
