Objective
Responsible for efficient timely execution of purchasing, both local as foreign providers/products under the supervision of the Procurement Manager.
Key Responsabilities
Assurance that real needs of Industry in Raw Materials and consumables (packaging materials and others) are acquired on due time;
Assurance that the process of acquisition of equipment and spare parts is executed timely;
Identifying potential supplier and preparing of tenders;
Identifying the best supplier in terms of conformity (quantity and quality) and price;
Synchronizing, just in time acquisition process, assurance the minimum stock requirements, and lead times with suppliers;
Following up the stock control and timely acquisition;
Following up, timely, the Supply Contracts;
Evaluation service levels supplied by providers if products & services;
Following up the import and export processes, providing assistance, where is required;
Following up, timely, the clearing process and any avoidable additional cost with demurrages and storages;
Assurance that all purchases are duly registered, controlled and linked with the suppliers statements and reflected at company’s accounts;
Assurance that all accounts with suppliers are reported and registered at Finance Department for settlement on due time;
Determination of costing of purchased goods, specially imported;
Keeping all purchasing activities organized and documents duly archived and protected;
Perform other tasks or activities not specified above, whenever deemed necessary to further the objectives of the company.
Requirements
[Skills and Experience]
5 years working experience in the area (mandatory);
University degree in relevant area;
Strong knowledge of MS Office and other work related software packages;
Knowledge on Primavera (mandatory);
Knowledge on procurement platforms;
Ability to communicate effectively in Portuguese and English both verbally and in writing (mandatory);
Good knowledge of Industry, related products and services;
Good knowledge of import and export of goods and services;
Incoterms;
Ability of calculation of cost of purchased goods;
Good negotiation skills;
Strong ability to build and sustain new business relationships, adapted to diverse environments, and motivation of employee loyalty;
Dynamic, versatile and good communications skills;
Professional with vision, leadership and tenacity;
Ability to work collaboratively;
Know how to create reports and commercial letters;
Ability to work under pressure and after hours;
Implement successfully, key parameter indicators (KPI) for this activity.
