Responsibilities
Develop, implement and manage plans to increase production, pickup and delivery routing, and warehouse efficiencies through people, processes, procedures and equipment;
Develop and implement operational systems and procedures to provide required information for all operational activities;
Develop and implement metrics and conduct perform variance analysis to ensure that all business goals are linked and all objectives are met at lowest cost and highest safety and quality;
Manage production/warehouse facility to include driver routing, delivery, and adherence to DOT laws and regulation;
Participate with other senior managers to establish strategic plans, policies and objectives to ensure sharing of best practices and optimize employee involvement;
Hire, develop, manage and lead key managers and staff including inventory, warehouse, delivery & installation, and maintenance;
Maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external customers and identify ways to increase customer satisfaction;
Perpetuate a culture of excellence and constant process improvement;
Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints;
Budget and capital expenditure forecasting;
Work in tandem with the Business Development Team to make sales presentations and increase revue
Responsible for compliance and safety of all operations staff in the region.
