As Manager, Sales Operations, you will create and execute strategic opportunities to drive system wide commercial growth through implementing new sales, business development, and marketing strategies and functions, and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure high quality offering of services.
You will present strategic business development plans to executives and market partners and lead the development, implementation, and promotion of joint broker and payer events with all partnered payers.
Additionally, you will apply proper execution of sales strategy techniques during event attendance. Attend community events in collaboration with marketing on industry events and outreach. Collaborate with payers to drive operational growth initiatives and membership growth targets in effort to achieve profitability and continued long-term growth. Develop and advance partnerships with all joint brokers.
This is a Full Time, Manager position located in Maputo.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus minimum of 3 years of health insurance experience.
Detail and solution-oriented, strong organizational skills, flexible and able to identify and resolve challenges.
Ability to manage, lead and facilitate complex projects, with superior facilitation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Experience in developing business development strategies and tactics including building target lists and approach based on referral data and research to maximize sales and referrals.
Experience in measuring, demonstrating and reporting on performance targets and objectives.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
Knowledge of Healthcare insurance industry and legislation.
Solid understanding of commercial healthcare distribution channel.
Sales or Account management experience with benefits carrier or benefits consultant.
Carrier or Broker experience highly preferred.
