Technical Specialists for USAID Mozambique Renda Verde Activity Tempo Inteiro

Tetra Tech International Development (International Development Jobs – Tetra Tech)  is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for Technical Specialist positions on a potential USAID-funded program in Mozambique. The Renda Verde Activity is anticipated to be a five-year program focused on boosting communities in leveraging the benefits of living in nature across key biodiversity conservation areas ‐ and benefit local people through sharing of nature‐based revenue.

Tetra Tech seeks qualified Mozambican candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Forestry;
• Biodiversity conservation;
• Community Based Natural Resource Management;
• Coastal ecosystem adaptation and resilience;
• Market systems development;
• Institutional strengthening;
• Gender, youth, and social inclusion;
• Private sector engagement;
• Grants management;
• Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning;
• Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting;
• Communications.

Qualifications

• University degree or higher in a relevant area of expertise;
• Seven (7) years of relevant professional experience supporting development programs or similar technical work in Mozambique or East Africa; experience with USAID/USG projects preferred;
• Proven leadership, organizational and writing skills;
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
• Fluency in Portuguese is required; professional fluency in English is an asset;
