Department: Wash Plant
Report to: HOD – Wash Plant.
Main Purpose of Job
- Expert with strong leadership skills who will have complete control of Electrical. He will be reporting directly to the HOD-Wash Plant.
Responsibilities
- Operation of electrical and instrumentation equipments for plant;
- Planning preventive and sensitive maintenance of plant equipments (electrical and instrumentation) in order to reduce breakdowns in the plant and attend troubleshooting;
- Prepare and revise maintenance plans of plant equipments, inspection check lists and training of operators and technicians;
- Planning and purchase spares to ensure reliability operation of the plant and all required follow ups;
- To lead electrical team and all related activities in the plant and timely report to plant manager;
- Control and update of documents related to electrical and instrumentation (control circuitry of MCC’s, VSD’s, cabling, interlocking and communication network from field instruments to PLC’s and PLC’s to SCADA);
- Installation of MCC’s, VSD’s, cabling and termination, installation of motors, UPS’s and all related instruments whenever required;
- Identify and prepare training on Hygiene Safety and Environment procedures as well as technical training module.
Requirements: Qualification and Skill
- Mozambican, with Degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Minimum 3 years experience in plant – Electrical (MCC’s, control circuitry, protection relays, motors, distribution transformers up to 33kV, variable speed drive (VSD) of at least 150kW, 33kV indoor & outdoor switchgear, and MV capacitor banks);
- Good IT skills (excel, word, power point & MS-project);
- Knowledge of SAP – MM and valid driving license will be advantage;
- Portuguese: Fluent (writing, reading and speaking);
- English: Good (writing, reading and speaking).
