We are currently recruiting a Human Resource Consult, with the following description.

Job Summary: To provide professional HR advisory services on key areas of personnel policy interpretation, implementation and related issues, ensuring application of best practice and compliance with employment legislation

Accountable to: Senior Consultant

Job Duties/ Responsibilities

• Advise companies on best human capital management practices;
• Helps clients strategically integrate effective HR processes, programs and practices into their daily operations;
• Perform internal reviews and audit of current systems and policies;
• Ensure business practices are in accordance with human resource policies and labor laws;
• Provide consultation and guidance to senior management and organizational partners in the interpretation of human resource management policies, procedures, programs and application of related government laws and regulations;
• Lead HR-related consulting projects;
• Provide advice on the disciplinary process, conduct disciplinary inquiries and advise on appropriate outcomes;
• Participate in the design, development and implementation of innovative workforce retention programs;
• Business Development i.e. market research and visits;
• Representing the firm in networking meetings;
• Proposal writing and making sales pitches at tendering meetings;
• Facilitating both internal and external training workshops.

Requirements

• Degree/ Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management/ Psychology/ Social Sciences;
• Minimum of 2 years experience  in a similar position;
• Proficiency  in Portuguese and English;
• Mozambican national.
