Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) in IOM Mozambique and direct supervision of the Head of Emergency Response and Recovery Unit, and in close coordination with the other Heads of Units and Head of Sub-Offices, the Programme Coordinator (Grant Managment) will be responsible for managing the Grant Management team which oversees and coordinates Implementing Partner (IP) and Grant Management (GM) for the IOM Mozambique mission. The Programme Coordinator (Grant Management) will be responsible for ensuring the effective and coordinated day-to-day implementation of specific grants and implementing partner projects, under all sectors of work in which the IOM Mozambique mission engages, with a primary focus on managing the Rapid Response and Localization Fund (RRF) programme. The incumbent will also be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth management of grant awards and capacity building of partners throughout the project or award lifecycle. The role is to be based in Pemba but roving across the country as needed.
